Cryptocurrency Platform Rebrands as a Mutual Agreement to Pretend Everything Is Fine

NEW YORK — A cryptocurrency platform has rebranded as a Mutual Agreement to Pretend Everything Is Fine, saying the new identity eliminates technical language that distracted customers from the principal service they were actually receiving.

The company will replace its trading dashboard with a single green indicator maintained through collective reassurance. Customers can continue viewing balances, although the interface now describes them as amounts everyone is making a sincere effort to accept.

'We were spending too much time explaining the technology and not enough time supporting the agreement,' a company spokesperson said. 'Our users do not need another diagram. They need to know that the other users also have not asked for their money this morning.'

The revised terms classify withdrawals as a request to reconsider the mood. Such requests will be processed in the order they can be discussed constructively. Premium members receive access to a separate room where an employee says the same thing more slowly.

In a presentation to regulators, executives argued that the platform should not be treated as a bank, a security or a game of musical chairs. They proposed the category 'ongoing social arrangement,' noting that it sounded less likely to require a reserve ratio.

The rebrand does not alter any customer's underlying holdings. It does change the language of a failed transaction from 'insufficient liquidity' to 'the group would appreciate some flexibility.' A new loyalty token rewards customers for leaving that message unread.

The company has ordered additional chairs for its office. They are not available to customers.
